No Instagram Business Account Error
You may see the error “No Instagram Business Account” when trying to connect Instagram to Juuno.
This error usually happens when Juuno cannot detect a Facebook Page connected to the Instagram Business Account
This usually means Juuno cannot detect an Instagram Business Account linked to a Facebook Page during the connection process.
Follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
Step 1: Confirm the Instagram Account is a Business Account
Log in to Instagram from your browser.
Open your profile.
Confirm the account is configured as a Professional or Business account.
If your account is still personal, convert it to a Business account before reconnecting.
Step 2: Verify the Facebook Page Connection
Your Instagram Business Account must be linked to a Facebook Page.
To check this:
Log in to Facebook.
Open your Facebook Page.
Click Settings.
Select Linked Accounts.
Confirm your Instagram account is connected.
If it is not connected, link the accounts before reconnecting to Juuno.
Step 3: Ensure Correct Permissions During Login
When connecting Instagram to Juuno:
Click Connect Instagram inside Juuno
Since Instagram is owned by Meta, any connection to an Instagram Business account must go through a Facebook account that is an administrator of the linked Facebook Page. This means, you'll authorize Juuno using your personal Facebook account.
Make sure this account is an admin of the Facebook Page linked to the Instagram account you're connecting.
During authorization, make sure ALL permissions are enabled and these are selected:
The correct Facebook Page
The correct Instagram account
If these permissions are not selected, Juuno will not detect the account.
Step 4: Refresh the Instagram Business Connection
If everything appears correct but the error persists, refreshing the connection can help.
Delete the Instagram connection from Juuno via Settings > Social Connections.
Remove the Juuno app from your Facebook account settings.
Reconnect the accounts again through Juuno.
This refreshes the permissions used by Meta’s API.
