Enable Autostart for the Juuno Android / Chromecast App

The Juuno Android and Chromecast app can automatically restart when the device reboots. This is useful if your device powers off overnight or restarts due to updates, allowing Juuno to resume automatically.

Follow the steps below to enable autostart.

Step 1: Enable “Display Over Other Apps”

Juuno requires permission to appear over other apps in order to start automatically after the device powers back on.

1. Open your device Settings.

2. Navigate to Apps.

3. Find and select Juuno.

4. Open Permissions.

5. Go to Special App Access.

6. Select Display Over Other Apps.

7. Turn the setting ON for Juuno.

Step 2: Keep the Juuno App Open Before Powering Off

Before turning off or restarting your Android or Chromecast device:

1. Open the Juuno app.

2. Leave the app running on the screen.

3. Restart or power off the device if needed.

This allows the system to recognize Juuno as the app that should relaunch after reboot.

Important Notes

• Make sure only the Juuno app has this permission enabled to prevent conflicts with other apps.

• This setting is especially important for digital signage setups where devices may reboot or lose power.
